A year in Pound Hill

Time flies.

It has already been a year since we moved to Pound Hill from Worcester Park. I can now safely say that we have settled in. We were planning to renovate our house soon after we moved in but then decided against it. We will keep it as it is for a couple of years or so. So the old wallpaper was removed after laborious work for a week or so from all the bedrooms, landing and cloakroom. All the bedrooms painted, kids love their bedroom.

Elder daughter is all settled in her new school. Already made quite a few friend in her first year there. Little one is going to start from September. I hope it would be as smooth as it went for the elder one.

I am enjoying my commute from Three Bridges to London Bridge. On a good day (very few recently) it takes around 35 minutes to reach London Bridge and then 6 minutes by Jubilee Line to Canary Wharf.

I am in love with the greener, cleaner, less congested, less polluted life of Crawley. I know a few families that live 5-6 minutes away from us so social activities have increased too 🙂

Every day I get a feeling that moving to Pound Hill was one of the best decisions of my life.

Thank you Pound Hill/West Sussex.
